The Other Reparations Movement

Jack Kershaw of Memphis, Tennessee, wants to file a class-action lawsuit against the US government for reparations. Not on behalf of the descendants of slaves but on behalf of Southerners of all races whose ancestors were the victims of the US government’s rampage of pillaging, plundering, burning, and raping of Southern civilians during the War for Southern Independence.

And why not again?
Eliminate the discriminatory impediments for gender, race, and religion, stick with matrimonial property ownership, private employment with no 'public servant' duties, parttime, or otherwise deriving income from such employment, and we'd be close to go.
Afterall, now being slaves on our ancestors' land they fought for, what's to lose, but our chains? We say no corruption, but if so, KEEP IT LOCAL. Check your own state constitutions now! A complete list of state constitutions. For some self-serving reason South Carolina is not included, but you can find it here.

For the most part, American colonists adopted the voter qualifications that they had known in England. Typically, a voter had to be a free, adult, male resident of his county, a member of the predominant religious group, and a "freeholder." A freeholder owned land worth a certain amount of money.
