The People’s Bank of China has recently issued a new set of gold and silver commemorative coins for Huangshan Mountain. The area is known for its scenery, sunrises, strangely jutting granite peaks, pine trees, and views of the clouds from above. It is one of China’s major tourist destinations, a World Heritage Site, and the frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature.

A total of eight different coins are included, with three in 99.9% gold and five in 99.9% silver. The common obverse design includes the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the title of the PRC, and the 2013 year date.

A 10,000 Yuan face value 1 kilogram 99.9% gold coin features the Guest Greeting Pine against mountain scenery. The proof quality coin has a diameter of 90 mm and mintage of 200 pieces.

A 2,000 Yuan face value 5 oz gold coin features a view of a granite formation topped by a pine tree known as Flower Blooming on Brush Tip. The proof quality coin has a diameter of 60 mm and mintage of 1,000 pieces.

The final and smallest gold coin has a weight of 1/4 oz and face value of 100 Yuan. The design features the Guest Greeting Pine against mountain scenery, similar to the depiction on the 1 kilogram sized coin. The 1/4 oz version is struck in proof quality with a diameter of 22 mm and mintage of 30,000 pieces.

A 300 Yuan face value 1 kilogram 99.9% silver coin features a view of Jade Screen Scenic Area from which elephant and lion shaped rocks can be seen as well as the three famous main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. The proof quality coin has a diameter of 100 mm and total mintage of 5,000 pieces.

The first of four 1 oz 99.9% silver proof coins features a scene of a curious boulder perched on a ridge, known as Monkey Watching the Sea. All of the 1 oz silver coins have a face value of 10 Yuan and are struck in proof quality with a diameter of 40 mm, and mintage of 50,000 pieces each.

The second 1 oz silver proof coin features a formation known as Intruder Rock set against mountain scenery.

The third coin features the Flying Rain Waterfall against mountain scenery.

The fourth and final 1 oz silver coin features Jade Screen Pavilion, which was originally the seat of a temple,but now a tourist center with complete service facilities.

A retired US military officer says Washington provided chemical and biological weapons to executed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein during the eight-year war against Iran.

In an interview with Voice of Russia published on Thursday, Karen Kwiantowski elaborated on America’s use of chemical weapons, saying that Washington gave Saddam Hussein chemical weapons to to be used against Iran during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war on the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 1980s.

“So, yeah, we've done it. It's old news how we took sides in the Iraq-Iran war ...we did provide chemical weapons and biological weapons to Saddam Hussein as he was fighting in that long war with Iran. And we did this, it's been well publicized,” she said.

According to a recent report published by the Foreign Policy magazine in late August, the Iraqi military attacked Iran several times during the eight-year war using mustard gas and lethal nerve agent of sarin, with the help of satellite imagery, maps and other intelligence provided by the US government.

The report also revealed that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents conveyed the location of the Iranian troops to Iraq, fully aware that Saddam’s military would attack with chemical arms.

According to reports, the use of chemical weapons by Iraq has incurred over 100,000 casualties on the Iranian side, with many others dying as a result of the chemicals on a daily basis. Around 20,000 soldiers were killed instantly by nerve gas.

Kwiatkowski went on to say that the US will not renounce the use of cluster bombs, which could disperse chemical weapons, despite their known dangerous impacts on civilians.

“We will not swear off cluster bombs, we use cluster bombs, and, of course, they have terrible impact on non-combatants, they are dangerous for many, many years even after we've launched them,” she said.

UN Ready to Accuse Syria Based on Fabricated "Evidence"

The United Nations has been used by those who fund and control it to do their dirty work for decades.

Whoever pays the tab, tells the chef what to cook, yes? In the current case of chemical weapons use in Syria, it’s quite obvious what the Western powers want the chef to prepare. The entire investigative process has been hardwired from the get-go to deliver a conclusion that is consistent with the bogus and childish US narrative that Syria is guilty!

The Obama Administration knew this from the very start, which is why they have fought so darn hard for an indictment without even waiting for the evidence or UN Inspection Report.  They are perfectly aware of how the ‘evidence’ has been cooked from the very beginning.

Whoever pays the tab, tells the chef what to cook

Not only is the United Nations housed (and bugged) in New York City, the USA contributes a whopping 22% of total contributions. And that’s out of 193 nations who are listed in the UN membership. Actually, in 2013 the US only paid $618,481,182 (which represents 22% of $2,811,278,100 total UN contributions). That’s not really that much money for the amount of influence it buys.  Especially when you’re playing such a high stakes, geo-political game that basically carves up the globe like a monopoly board.

Isn’t this what the United Nations really does? Backs one group of nations and their corporate interests over another group or single nation.

Every single UN Security Council involvement since 1945 has been about supporting those who wield influence by way of financial contributions and military might. Were one to evaluate each military intervention which was backed by the UN over the past 65 plus years, one would only need to “follow the money”.

The Syrian false flag operation (sarin gas) is no different. It does require a lot of payola to pay off everyone who needs to be paid in order to keep the false narrative going. Nevertheless, in a war-torn country like Syria, takers are very easily found. Especially when it is a life or death decision depending on which side you choose to be on.

The UN Has Been a Rubber Stamp Forever

It’s quite interesting to watch the various candidates be vetted for the position of UN Secretary-General. Whoever is supported by USA, UK, Germany, France and the other NATO nations is always a shoe-in. Whoever does not receive their backing simply has never made the cut.

And so it is with the current Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon. As the former foreign minister of South Korea, the USA guaranteed that he would be sympathetic to the interest of the Western powers. Truly, this choice was a slam dunk. And it has become manifest with each and every international incident that jumps off around the globe under his extremely weak leadership.

Ki-moon is perhaps the most transparent fix the USA et al. has ever pulled off for this critical position. Because of the number and intensity of serious international incidents that they were staking up, they (the USA et al.) could make no mistakes. After all, completely re-arranging the entire Middle East to control energy resources in this new millennium is no small task and could not suffer any failures.

The South Korean Ban Ki-moon fits the profile of the perfect sycophant, as South Korean politicians are virtually always the quintessential cheerleaders for all things American.  They know who butters their bread, and who protects them from an unstable and dangerous North Korea.  Enough said.

Just how many CIA-coordinated, color-coded revolutions have we witnessed in the Mideast since 9/11? The Arab Spring has literally become the Arab summer, fall and winter as well. It’s non-stop revolution and then counter-revolution when thing don’t go according to plan. Frankly, no one has ever seen anything like it, except back in WWII and before that with WWI.

World War III Is Happening Right Now

They just don’t call it that. In a time when peace is war, and debt slavery is freedom, the global control matrix is extremely careful not to label anything as it truly is.

Which brings us back to the USA’s role in this Great Game, as it’s called. Since this nation is the military arm of the New World Order, it holds an extremely disproportionate amount of sway in world affairs.  So much sway that as a military juggernaut, it now runs on the philosophical fuel of ‘might makes right’.

This is exactly why Obama and company are able “to accuse Syria based on fabricated ‘circumstantial evidence’” and practically get away with it!

They have always gotten away with it in the past.  However, we live in interesting times which have seen a “turning of the tables”.  No matter how much John Kerry lies, he will never convince those who know the obvious truth of this matter.  Their problem now is that there are more of us than ever around the globe who do know the truth.

USDA Program Allowing Pork Plants to Inspect Themselves Fails to Prevent Contaminated Meat

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) spent 15 years sponsoring a pilot program that involved pork-processing plants speeding up operations while taking on a greater role in inspecting meat to ensure safety. 

USDA officials concluded that the new system failed to stop the production of contaminated meat—and yet, the agency wants to now expand this flawed process to all pork producers in the United States.

The pilot project was used at five American hog plants, and a similar program was also tested in select countries that export red meat to the U.S. It allowed producers to increase the speed of processing lines by as much as 20%, and it reduced the number of USDA safety inspectors by 50% at each plant, replacing them with private inspectors employed by the companies.

A program of this sort had long been advocated by the meat industry, and its initial launch in 1997 was hailed by meat producers because the reduced government oversight and increased rate of processing would mean greater profits. The government also saw the chance to save millions of dollars per year due to reducing the number of its meat inspectors.

At the time, the USDA promised it would study the effectiveness of the new inspection program. But it never did.

Now a report (pdf) issued by the USDA Office of the Inspector General (IG) shows that the 15-year experiment has proven to be a disaster for the health and safety of American and foreign consumers alike.

Among the five U.S. facilities participating in the test program, three of them landed on the government’s list of the 10 worst offenders in the country for health and safety violations, including failures to remove fecal matter from meat, according to the report.

In addition, the plant with the worst record was one of the five in the pilot program.

One piece of good news: Contaminated meat at these plants never made it to market because government inspectors caught it at the end of the processing line. But this kind of situation is considered too late in the process to effectively protect consumers from eating tainted meat.

A similar system of self-inspection by meat producers was also allowed at plants in Canada and Australia that export their beef products to the U.S. In the last two years, these facilities have “experienced a rash of problems,” according to The Washington Post.

One of the Canadian plants wound up recalling nearly nine million pounds of beef and beef products tainted with E. coli — about 2.5 million pounds of which went to the U.S. market.

The speeding up of processing lines was partly blamed for the contamination, according to Canadian government safety inspectors.

The Post’s Kimberly Kindy wrote: “And since the beginning of last year, 11 shipments of beef, mutton and goat meat from at least four Australian plants using the procedures were stopped at U.S. ports because of contamination, which included fecal matter and partly digested food, records show.”

A week before the IG issued its critical report, USDA undersecretary for food safety Elisabeth Hagen praised the inspection methods and told an industry trade publication that her department is “comfortable [with] and confident in” the program’s safety results.

The USDA told the IG that it was still conducting its own evaluation of the pilot project, but that it was hoping to not only keep it around, but also expand it to all pork plants in the U.S.

Meanwhile, the agency has tested a similar program at dozens of American chicken plants. USDA officials plan to finalize regulations this year that will authorize all chicken and turkey processing facilities to use it.

While the USDA forges ahead with its plans, interviews with six meat safety inspectors added to the ugly picture already painted by the IG report. Speaking to the Post, they said that any attempt that workers make to slow down the processing lines or complain about inadequate safety procedures results in intimidation and threats by management. Additionally, they warned that the safety of the meat has been compromised by the reduction in inspectors.

“We are no longer in charge of safety,” one veteran inspector told the Post. “That’s what the public needs to know.”

I for one have found this report the most complete and credible account of the US war on Syria. If foreigners and friends abroad find our government guilty of "despicable posturing" then anyone that can hear and read, is not still watching TV with rabbit ear antennas, then must concur.

Worse, the entire world is seeing our senators and congressmen on stage in the greatest display of political buffoonery, lying, 'Me Firster' behavior, and just plain immoral. All of which reflects on YOU, the People.

Kind of leaves any thinking person wondering whose tail is wagging our dog, eh? Furthermore, the big stink is where has our congress been during these entire periods of torment.

Is Saudi Prince Bandar really behind Syria chemical attacks

A report by Dale Gavlak, has collected the testimonies of witnesses who say that “certain rebels received chemical weapons via the Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and were responsible for carrying out the gas attack.”

Nothing the US claims about what happened in Syria adds up. We are being asked to believe an illogical story, when it is much more likely that it was Israel and Saudi Arabia who enabled the Obama Administration to threaten Syria with war. 

The Obama Administration’s intelligence report on Syria was a rehash of Iraq. “There are lots of things that aren’t spelled out” in the four-page document, according to Richard Guthrie, the former project head of the Chemical and Biological Warfare Project of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. One piece of evidence is the alleged interception of Syrian government communications, but no transcripts were provided.

Just as with the Obama Administration’s speeches which all fall short of conclusively confirming what happened, nothing was categorically confirmed in the intelligence report. Actually it comes across more as a superficial college or university student’s paper put together by wordsmiths instead of genuine experts on the subject.

Going in a circle, the report even depends on “unnamed” social media and accounts as sources of evidence or data. Lacking transparency, it states that “there are accounts from international and Syrian medical personnel, videos, witness accounts, thousands of social media reports from at least 12 different locations in the Damascus area, journalist accounts and reports from highly credible non-governmental organizations.”

Chances are that these unnamed sources are actually foreign-funded insurgents, Israeli media, Saudi media, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights – which includes fighters in the ranks of the insurgency and salutes Saudi Arabia as a model democracy – or the NGO Doctors Without Borders. These are the same sources that have been supporting the insurgency and pushing for regime change and military intervention in Syria.

Moreover, one of the main sources of the intelligence and communication interceptions that are supposed to be a smoking gun is none other than Israel, which is notorious for doctoring and falsifying evidence.

The US intelligence report also claims to have advanced knowledge about the plans to launch a chemical weapons attack several days before it happened. A leading expert on chemical weapons, Jean Pascal Zanders, who until recently was a senior research fellow at the European Union’s Institute for Security Studies, asks why the US government did not tell the world about it and issue warnings about a chemical attack at that time.

An Israeli-Saudi-US conspiracy?

The US-supported anti-government forces fighting inside Syria are the ones that have a track record of using chemical weapons. Yet, Obama and company have said nothing.

Despite the anti-government forces accusations that the Syrian military launched a chemical weapon attack on Homs at Christmas in December 2012, CNN reported that the US military was training anti-government fighters with the securing and handling of chemical weapons. Under the name of the Destructive Wind Chemical Battalion, the insurgents themselves even threatened to use nerve gas and released a video where they killed rabbits as a demonstration of what they planned on doing in Syria.

According to the French newspaper Le Figaro, two brigades of anti-government fighters that were trained by the CIA, Israelis, Saudis, and Jordanians crossed from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan into Syria to launch an assault, respectively on August 17 and 19, 2013. The US must have invested quite a lot in training both anti-government brigades. If true, some may argue that their defeat prompted the chemical weapons attack in Damascus as a contingency plan to fall back on.

However, how they came by chemical weapons is another issue, but many trails lead to Saudi Arabia. According to the British Independent, it was Saudi Prince Bandar “that first alerted Western allies to the alleged use of sarin gas by the Syrian regime in February 2013.”  

Turkey would apprehend Syrian militants in its territory with sarin gas, which these terrorists planned on using inside Syria. On July 22 the insurgents would also overrun Al-Assal and kill all the witnesses as part of a cover-up.

A report by Yahya Ababneh, which was contributed to by Dale Gavlak, has collected the testimonies of witnesses who say that  “certain rebels received chemical weapons via the Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and were responsible for carrying out the gas attack.”

The Mint Press News report adds an important dimension to the story, totally contradicting the claims of the US government. It quotes a female insurgent fighter who says things that make a link to Saudi Arabia clear. She says that those who provided them with weapons “didn’t tell them what these arms were or how to use them” and that they “didn’t know they were chemical weapons.” “When Saudi Prince Bandar gives such weapons to people, he must give them to those who know how to handle and use them,” she is quoted.

There is also another Saudi link in the report: “Abdel-Moneim said his son and 12 other rebels were killed inside a tunnel used to store weapons provided by a Saudi militant, known as Abu Ayesha, who was leading a fighting battalion. The father described the weapons as having a ‘tube-like structure’ while others were like a ‘huge gas bottle.’”

So it seems that the Saudis enabled the chemical attack while the Israelis provided them cover to ignite a full-scale war, or at the very least enable a bombing campaign against Damascus. Israel and Saudi Arabia have empowered the Obama Administration to threaten war on Syria.

Obama wants to change the balance of power in Syria

The moralistic language coming out of Washington is despicable posturing. The hypocrisy of the US government knows no bounds. It condemns the Syrian military for using cluster bombs while the United States sells them en masse to Saudi Arabia.

The UN inspectors entered Syria in the first place on the invitation of the government in Damascus. The Syrian government warned the UN for weeks that the anti-government militias were trying to use chemical weapons after they gained control of a chlorine factory east of Aleppo. As a precaution, the Syrian military consolidated all its chemical weapons into a handful of heavily guarded compounds to prevent the anti-government forces from reaching them. Yet, the insurgents launched a chemical weapon attack against the Syrian government’s forces in Khan Al-Assal on March 19, 2013. Turning the truth on its head, the insurgents and their foreign backers, including the US government, would try to blame the Syrian government for the chemical attack, but the UN’s investigator Carla Del Ponte would refute their claims as false in May after extensive work.

Concerning the alleged August attack the Obama Administration has been lying and contradicting itself for days. They say that traces of chemical weapons cannot be eliminated, but that the Syrian government destroyed that same evidence that cannot be eradicated. They want an investigation, but say they already have all the answers.

The claims that the Syrian government used chemical weapons in the suburb of Ghouta defy logic. Why would the Syrian government unnecessarily use chemical weapons in an area that it controls and shoot itself in the foot by presenting the US and its allies with a pretext to intervene? And of all the days it could unnecessarily use chemical weapons, the Obama administration wants us to believe that the Syrian government picked the day when United Nation inspectors arrived in Damascus.

Even the biased and misleading state-run British Broadcasting Corporation admitted that there was something strange about the event. The BBC’s  own “Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen says many will ask why the [Syrian] government would want to use such weapons at a time when [United Nations] inspectors are in the country and the military has been doing well militarily in the area around Damascus.”

The US is deliberately pointing the finger for the use of chemical weapons at the Syrian government.

American officials have a track record of lying to start wars against other countries. This has been the consistent modus operandi of the US from Vietnam to Yugoslavia, and from Iraq to Libya.

It is not Syria that is going against the international community, but the warmongers in Washington, which include the Obama Administration.

Washington is threatening to attack Syria as a means of prolonging the fighting inside Syria. The US government also wants to have a stronger hand in the country’s future negotiations by restoring the balance of power between the Syrian government and America’s anti-government insurgent allies, thus weakening the Syrian military and ending its winning momentum against the insurgency. If not softening Damascus up for the insurgents, America wants to level the equation and undermine the Syrian government before a final negotiation takes place.

Now is the time for the “responsibility to prevent war”—the real R2P—to come into play.
